Amasuwa

There is much to enjoy in the surrounding vicinity of Amasuva Residence. If you enjoy Sun & Sand, then look no further than the beautiful palm fringed Mt Lavinia beach, Better yet why not jump on the Moratuwa Railway approximately 1.5Km from the house and take a scenic ride to the Hikkaduwa beach, where you can book a glass bottom boat to view  magnificent coral reefs and other marine life.  For the more adventurous there is also water skiing and water surfing 20Km away. 

Are you a nature lover?  Then why not take a boat cruise on the picturesque Bolgoda lake, approximately 5km away. Keen bird watchers will also be happy to know that there is a bird watching sanctuary within walking distance, where you can see many a number of endemic as well as migratory birds. 

Animal lovers can take a taxi to the Dehiwela Zoo where they will be able to see many animals and also watch bird shows, dolphin shows and the elephant show unique to Sri Lanka. 

Looking for a bit of culture and history, then visit the Bellanvilla Raja Maha Viharaya a very popular ancient buddhist temple located within walking distance from the house. 

Shopaholics among you will be happy to know that there is the K Zone shopping mall just 300m from the residence.   I'm sure you have all heard of Arthur C Clarke, one of the greatest minds in recent times, well for those interested the Arthur C Clarke observatory is just 1.5Km away.

Venture further out into the capital ( 14 km)  and find yourself walking along the beautiful Galle Face green overlooking the Colombo Harbo,. Enjoy a picnic with your loved one at the Viharamahadevi park  or enjoy a taste of Sri Lakan history by visiting the Colombo Museum.  Whatever you seek, it's all within your reach.
