A local entrepreneur's ambitious venture in to tourism has benefited the community in the area surrounding Hotel Senani.
Initiated by the Hotel, waste disposal units have been installed at locations where previously villagers were dumping garbage on the roadside - taking the commitment to keep the environment beautiful and free of health hazards.
Youth employed at the hotel are extensively trained in all aspects of the Hospitality trade and with particular emphasis in being motivated to do ones best even in the most dire and difficult situations.
Facilities & Services
Baskets of seasonal tropical fruit adorn the rooms, adding to the welcome granted to visitors in the form of a glass of iced fruit juice and warm/cold (according to the time and temperature of the day) scented towels.
The roof top restaurant is open from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. and serves a variety of western and eastern menus cooked by experienced chefs. Spacious and airy, the view from the Hotel restaurant is breathtaking.
The swimming pool with an attached baby pool and the Ayurvedic spa are additional recreational facilities that are being finalised. The Hotel also arranges inland tours; to silk and handloom factories, places of historical and cultural interest, and locations of scenic beauty utilising its fleet of cars and coaches.
A few steps away from the Hotel is the Log Cabin Pub, a venue to spend a cool evening dousing a good beer or a stronger drink coupled with a gourmet meal at the Senani Restaurant. The Senani Silk and Souvenir Shop is housed in the same building. Isini Gems is a self contained lapidary cum gem museum with many pieces of exquisite hand crafted jewellery to be viewed or purchased.
