Senani Hotel is owned by a first generation entrepreneur Sujeewa Palliyaguruge, a recipient of many local and national awards for excellence in business management.
Sujeewa believes in a personalised service, providing his guests the comfort of being waited upon in a homely environment. His many business activities are all focussed on tourism and geared to provide rest and recreation for the visitors.
Warm and hospitable, Sujeewa employs professionals to manage the key departments, but takes a personal interest in the running of Hotel Senani; living a walking distance from the hotel, his close supervision ensures that his guests are well looked after.
An award winning Presidential Scout, Sujeewa continues his commitment to social service as Director of Community Development of the Lion's Club, Kandy Hill Capital.

Mr. Palliyaguruge pays a keen interest in recruiting regional youth. Preference is given to those who complete a degree from the Ceylon Hotel School.
The management of the hotel makes every effort to support regional suppliers by purchasing thier local products.
Almost all the higher positions of the hotel are managed by the staff who reside within close proximity of the hotel. Most of the hotel staff have been trained in-house at the hotel before going on to secure stable careers.
