Originally the Nuwara Eliya residence of Governor Gregory the Heritage Hotel is a well maintained colonial building. This 150 year old mansion retains its old world charm while providing the amenities necessary for comfort and is endearing to those who seek rest and recreation in a small hotel environment away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

A spacious lobby tastefully furnished with antiques and period furniture equipped with TV is but one example of how the hotel provides an excellent combination of the old and the new.
All rooms are tastefully furnished, comfortable, and come with electric heaters. The eight standard rooms are in a new wing, an addition to the old bungalow built in the late 1990’s. The six deluxe rooms are fitted with TVs.
For the more discerning there is the grand suite with the luxury of a larger room with a romantic four poster bed and antique furniture of the British era. Wooden floors and ceilings ensure warmth -- both physically and emotionally.
