The Big Drop In

DAY 1 : Warmly met and greeted at the airport then proceeding straight to Kandy. Check in at Hotel Topaz. Take a short rest and get rid of that fatigue before the city tour. In the evening proceed on a site seeing tour around the sacred city of Kandy.

Kandy... this royal city, sheltered by the hills and looped by the Mahaweli - Sri Lanka's longest river, still holds religious and cultural significance. A stroll around the sleepy, but serene Kandy Lake, where balmy winds waft across, a walk through the Royal Botanical Gardens located at Peradeniya and a visit to the University of Peradeniya - the spacious green campus laid out near the banks of the Mahaweli is a must for any visitor to Kandy.

Proceed back to the hotel for the overnight stay.

DAY 2 : After breakfast is leisurely taken, check out from the hotel and proceed to Negombo via the winding routes of Nuwara Eliya. The drive will take approximately 6 hours but you will witness the dramatic climate change right in front of your eyes. You will witness the cozy winter like climate while you are in Nuwara Eliya but within the next couple of hours you will experience the tropical climate in Negombo beach.

Check in at Catamaran Beach Resort and spend the rest of the day at full leisure on the beach. Grab that favourite spirit of yours and enjoy the breathtaking sights of the setting sun. Let the soft waves wash over your feet while you stand on that golden beach; or free your self up and enjoy a refreshing sea bath. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3 : After breakfast and according to the flight details proceed to the airport for departure.
