Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
The hotel management has initiated a seperate internal commitee called the "CSR Project" to be mainly engaged in charity projects and community services. The commitee members decide upon a school which is in dire need of help, and then go about trying to bring it up to a good standard. A recent project undertaken was to a school named 'Sariputha Vidyalaya' by rasing a computer lab and a play area and carrying out major renovations of the existing school buildings.
